Apres Velo shirts have a bike sense of humor

There’s a great combination of bike humor and great design to be found on Apres Velo shirts. The focus of the designs are bikes and bike parts, while the text plays off words like tyre and cog for inside jokes.

All of which definitely makes these among by favorites for bike tees. (Apres Velo pulls ahead of many others just on the fact that all the designs are available on women’s cut shirts as well. Yea!)

I’ve pulled out a few I liked here and found on Amazon and BikeMania. There are tons more available over on the Apres Velo website directly for women and men. You can find the full line of their Tour de France shirts in gorgeous retro feel designs.

It’s difficult to see the first design, but it’s a play off lather, rinse, repeat. The flowchart on the Ride Repeat shirt shows either you made it back safely and should eat and sleep and repeat, or you died happy out on your bike. Sprocket Science puts the design on the back (and in pink) on a more polo style shirt. It’s kind of a blue-print (pink-print?) of all the various bike parts. Oh – and the last one? It states you’ve been crowned Miss Cog-Geniality. That yellow text is a little difficult to read on the pale purple background.

A few different looks I found for the guys. One of Apres Velo’s most popular shirts is the Shut Up Legs, shown here for the guys. I can remember saying that a few times myself, but it’s definitely targeted for racer types. The olive one uses the cog again to humorous gain with the
CogFather.
