Ride 2 Recovery is a rehab program for wounded veterans featuring cycling as its core activity. So we’re talking traditional bikes, as well as those modified to be pedaled by hand (which I saw several of over the summer in Colorado). Pretty cool.
You can just make a donation to the program any time you purchase something at Nashbar, or go a little beyond that with some of the gear they’ve released, exclusively at Nashbar.
There’s a jersey, shorts, socks, even arm warmers. I do wish they had come out with a head wrap as well, but oh well.
A portion of the proceeds from all sales goes to benefit Ride 2 Recovery, while any donations collected via Nashbar go completely and directly to the organization.
